That is a paragraph from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
In my visits to different parts of the National Parks and Monuments system, I have encountered the Land and the People on the Land, many of whom have traditions that walk this continent for at least 15,000 years.
My family is therefore relatively new here- 390 years as of summer of 2022. Learning about our collective past and my family history here is critical to being able to learn and do better moving forward. It is a never ending process that will last a lifetime.
